Play Based Learning

Research shows that the average child is not ready for formal learning until they reach the age of 7 or 8. Picture the scene. A class of P1 pupils are sitting at the carpet. Some children refuse. Some sit fidgetting. Some ignore the teacher. This is not the fault of the child. It is simply their way of communicating that they are not able to undertake this formal setting.
